Plays at Cartersville High School for coach Kyle Tucker … rated the third best shortstop and 15th best overall player in the state by Perfect Game … also tabbed the No. 121 player in the country … named a 2016 Underclass High Honorable Mention and 2017 First Team Preseason Underclass All-American by Perfect Game … summer team is the East Cobb Yankees … won the 2016 Connie Mack World Series … son of Scott and Lora Warner … has one sister, Ashlyn (20).

AuburnTigers.com: Why Auburn? What makes it special?
Devin Warner: I chose Auburn because it instantly felt like home. All of the people associated with the program just make it feel special.
AT: What are your goals both on and off the field?
DW: My goal on the field is to win a national championship. Off the field, I would like to grow and mature in my spiritual walk.
AT: What can you say about the Auburn coaching staff?
DW: The members of the Auburn coaching staff are some of the best people I have ever met. They were a huge part of my decision to commit to the university.
