2013 Camp Waiver | Parental Consent Form
AUBURN, Ala. - The Auburn baseball program will host four camps between October and January, head coach Sunny Golloway announced today. All camps will take place at Plainsman Park, and full details are available at www.collegebaseballcamps.com/tigers. Three camps are for high school players (2014-2017 graduates only), and the fourth camp is for first through eighth graders. Players at all camps will receive instruction and go through drills with the Auburn coaching staff.
October 1-November 19: Fall Hitting Camp
The Fall Hitting Camp is a unique, eight-session program that will take place every Tuesday night from October 1 through November 19. The camp is limited to the first 25 participants and will teach the fundamentals of hitting through tee work, front toss, machine work and live batting practice on the stadium field. Registration is $425 for all eight sessions, which will run from 6:30-8:30 p.m. each night. Volunteer assistant coach Hunter Vick, student assistant Ryan Jenkins and current Auburn players will run the camp.
November 23-24: Elite 20 Camp
Auburn will host Elite 20 Baseball Camp Nov. 23 and 24. The session on Nov. 23 is for pitchers and catchers, and the Nov. 24 session is for hitters. The registration fee is $299 for one session, or players can register for both sessions for $499. The camp is limited to 20 participants both days. The Fall Elite Camps will teach campers the fundamentals of pitching/catching and hitting as campers will have the opportunity to work closely with the Auburn coaches to develop and refine their skills on the mound and at the plate.
December 14-15: Youth Winter Camp
The Tigers will host the Youth Winter Camp on Saturday and Sunday, Dec. 14-15, for players in first through eighth grades. Players will spend two days receiving instruction, practicing and developing skills in all aspects of the game, playing games and having fun playing baseball. Players will be divided into teams by age group and will be practicing and competing against other players of similar age and abilities. The registration fee is $250 for the two-day camp.
January 11-12: High School Pre-Season Training Camp
The final camp will take place in the new year. The High School Pre-Season Training Camp runs Jan. 11-12, 2014, and is specifically designed for the high school player preparing to begin his next season of baseball. This is an excellent opportunity to receive instruction, develop and refine skills, and compete against other high school players with the Auburn coaches and an excellent camp staff. The cost for the two-day camp is $275.
Please note, ALL campers planning to attend ANY camp are required to provide the appropriate paperwork in advance or at check-in the day of camp. These forms include signed parental waivers, medical release containing a doctor's signature, and a copy of your insurance card. Links to the appropriate forms can be found at the top of this page.
