    Kevin Patterson And Cotuit Kettleers Playing For Cape Cod Championships Patterson hit .244 during the summer

    Kevin Patterson and the Cotuit Kettleers will face the Bourne Braves in a best-of-three series for the Cape Cod League Championship, beginning Tuesday night at the home of the Braves, Doran Park, at 7pm ET. Game two will be at 3pm on Wednesday at Cotuit's home field of Lowell Park. If a third game is necessary, it will be held on Thursday at Doran Park.

    Patterson, a rising junior at Auburn, hit .244 with a pair of doubles and four home runs, which tied for the Cotuit team lead. He has also driven in 11 runs, which is tied for fifth on the squad.

    Since the playoffs started, Patterson has hit .313 in four games with a league-leading two doubles and four RBI, which is tied for second during the league playoffs.
