AUBURN, Ala. --The Auburn Tigers wrap up the 2014 regular season at home this weekend with a three-game series against the LSU Tigers, which runs Thursday-Saturday at Plainsman Park. Game times are set for 6 p.m. Thursday and Friday and 1 p.m. Saturday.

Auburn (28-25, 10-17) is in need of at least one win - but more likely two - to have a chance at earning a berth in next week's SEC Tournament. The Tigers are a half-game back of Georgia and a game back of Tennessee and need to win and get some help to move out of 13th place in the league standings. The Tigers enter the weekend with momentum after a 6-5, walk-off win over UAB at home Tuesday night.

Meanwhile, LSU (37-14-1, 14-10-1) seeks an SEC West title and a first-round SEC Tournament bye, which the Tigers could earn with a series sweep and some help. LSU split two games with Alabama last weekend (Sunday's game was rained out) and comes into Auburn on the heels of a 27-0 win over Northwestern State on Tuesday night.

Nine Auburn seniors will play their final home games this weekend against LSU. The nine that will be honored before Saturday's regular-season finale are C Blake Austin, RHP Reid Carter, RHP Terrance Dedrick, IF Dan Glevenyak, LHP Michael O'Neal, RHP Dillon Ortman, OF Ryan Tella, IF Damek Tomscha and RHP Jay Wade.

SportSouth will carry Saturday's game with Dave Neal and Larry Conley on the call. The broadcast will also be available on

Rod Bramblett and Andy Burcham will be on the mic for the radio broadcast on the Auburn IMG Sports Network, which can be heard locally in Auburn on WGGZ 94.3 FM.
