AUBURN, Ala. -- The Auburn Tigers look to get back on track Tuesday night as in-state rival South Alabama visits Plainsman Park for a 6 p.m. non-conference game.
The Tigers (22-19) are coming off their fourth straight SEC series loss and a week in which they went 1-3 overall. Auburn dropped two of three games to nationally ranked South Carolina at home over the weekend and also fell in a midweek contest at Samford last Tuesday.
South Alabama (17-22) also dropped two of three in Sun Belt Conference play last week, falling in their series at Western Kentucky. The Jaguars have lost five of their last six coming into the weekend, having also dropped a non-conference game to Southeastern Louisiana and a conference series to Arkansas State in the last two weeks.
This will be the first meeting between the teams since 2012. Auburn won that meeting, a 7-0 decision at home, to snap a three-game skid against the Jaguars.
ESPN3.com will carry a broadcast of the game with Andy Burcham and Gabe Gross calling the action.
Rod Bramblett and Van Riggs will be on the mic for the Auburn IMG Sports Network. The broadcast can be heard locally in Auburn on WGGZ 94.3 FM, and fans can access live audio and live stats at AuburnTigers.com.

Sophomore Jordan Ebert enters the week as the second-leading hitter in the Southeastern Conference (.364). Ebert had his first career four-hit game at Ole Miss (4/4).
Senior RHP Dillon Ortman is 7-2 going into the week, which ties for the most wins by a pitcher in the SEC.
