Auburn Heads To Nashville For Three-Game Set With The No. 11 Commodores

Auburn-Vanderbilt Game Notes in PDF Format

The Auburn baseball team will try to snap a season-long four game losing streak this weekend when it travels to Nashville, Tenn., for three games against No. 11 Vanderbilt. Game times for the weekend series are 6pm CT on Friday, noon on Saturday in a game televised live by CSS, and 1pm on Sunday.

Auburn (22-16, 6-9 SEC) will use the same weekend rotation it has been using for the past couple of weekends, throwing R-Fr. LHP Grant Dayton (4-1, 3.72) on Friday, Fr. LHP Cory Luckie (4-3, 3.54) on Saturday and Fr. RHP Bradley Hendrix (1-0, 4.74) on Sunday.

Vanderbilt (26-10, 8-6 SEC) will counter Auburn with So. LHP Mike Minor (4-2, 3.95) on Friday, R-Fr. RHP Caleb Cotham (5-2, 3.22) on Saturday and Jr. RHP Nick Christiani (4-1, 3.57) on Sunday.

Auburn enters the weekend in a three-way tie for second in the SEC West and eighth overall with Alabama and LSU, a half-game behind Kentucky (7-8 SEC) for seventh in the overall standings and three games behind Ole Miss (9-6 SEC) in the West race.
