AUBURN, Ala. -- The newly-ranked Auburn baseball team is back in action at Plainsman Park on Tuesday night for their second meeting of the season with the Kennesaw State Owls. First pitch is set for 6 p.m.
The Tigers (17-8, 4-2 SEC), which earned a national ranking in four of five polls Monday, have won both of their series in conference play to start the season and find themselves in a tie for first place atop the SEC Western Division standings. Auburn won two of three on the road at Tennessee over the weekend and also took a pair of games from Coppin State at home last week.
Kennesaw State (12-15, 1-5 ASUN) has struggled of late, dropping its last six contests, including a sweep at the hands of Lipscomb over the weekend.

The Tigers will play in the initial ESPNU Thursday Night SEC Baseball game of the season as they open a three-game series against the Missouri Tigers at 6:30 p.m. Thursday. Friday's game is set for 6 p.m., and Saturday's game will begin at noon with FSN carrying the telecast.
