Auburn Baseball Begins Eight-Game Home Stand On Tuesday Against Davidson

The Auburn baseball team returns to the diamond on Tuesday night as it plays the first of eight straight home games in the next nine days prior to the start of Southeastern Conference play. Auburn begins the home stand against Davidson at 6pm CT on Tuesday.

Auburn (4-4) will send Scott Shuman to the mound on Tuesday for the sophomore's first career start. Coming off of an impressive relief outing in which he threw 6.0 innings and retired the final 14 hitters he faced, he will be looking to end a four-game slide for Auburn.

After a back-to-back set with Davidson, Auburn plays host to VMI for a four-game series beginning on Thursday, March 6. Auburn will then take a day off before closing out the home stand with a back-to-back set against Appalachian State on Tuesday, March 11 and Wednesday, March 12.

Tuesday night's game against Davidson is Two Dollar Tuesday and all tickets are $2 while Wednesday is Youth Night and all kids 17-and-under get in free with a cap and glove.
