Off to its best start since the 2007 season, the 6-1 Auburn baseball team will look to notch another win on Tuesday afternoon when it plays host to Kennesaw State at 3pm at Plainsman Park in the first-ever meeting between the schools. Tuesday's game is a Tasty Tuesday and fans can purchase one concession item and receive another for free (free item must be of equal or lesser value and combo meals are excluded).

Auburn junior right-hander Dillon Ortman (0-0, 1.69 ERA) will start on the mound opposite Kennesaw State sophomore right-hander Steve Janas (0-0, 0.00 ERA).

Auburn and Kennesaw State (4-3) have never met on the baseball diamond as Kennesaw State is just in its seventh season as a Division I program.

Auburn has already played four one-run games, winning three of them, and has posted a come-from-behind victory five times.

Auburn's bullpen has been involved in five decisions, going 4-1 with a 0.95 ERA with four saves.

Following Tuesday's game, Auburn will play host to Eastern Illinois to wrap up an 11-game home stand to start the 2013 season.
