As the Tigers prepare for Opening Day 2010 on February 19th, Auburn fans are encouraged to check out the 2010 promotions schedule. This year's schedule includes five post-game fireworks shows, premium item giveaways, special food offers, ticket specials and more.
"We are doing a lot of exciting things at Plainsman Park and I hope that we can have a packed house at each of our games this season," Auburn Head Coach John Pawlowski said.
New promotions for this season are headlined by Friday Night Fireworks. Every SEC Friday night game will feature a post-game fireworks show. Also new for 2010 is the return of Hot Dog Night, presented by Bryan Foods, on Tuesday, April 20th where all hot dogs will be just 50 cents.
Ticket promotions for 2010 will include something for every age group. Every Sunday game, excluding the LSU series, is Family Day where fans can get four tickets, four hot dogs and four drinks all for just $30 (advance purchase only). Two-for-Tuesdays will be buy one ticket, get one free and every Wednesday is ALLKids Youth Night, where youth 12 and under get in free with a cap and glove.
Autograph days with the team have been scheduled for February 21st, 28th and March 7th and will include a special team photo card giveaway courtesy of the Marines. Kids 12 and under will have the opportunity to run the bases after every SEC Sunday game, courtesy of ALLKids.
The 2010 schedule will feature several giveaways including collect-them-all Team Trading Card Sets from Longhorn Steakhouse every SEC Sunday game, Drink Huggers from Logan Square Apartments on March 26th, Fan Scrolls from Verizon Wireless on April 10th, Mini Bat Key Chains from University Village on April 23rd, Ball Caps from Cook's Pest Control on May 8th, and Puzzle Posters from Nabisco and Winn-Dixie on May 14th.
Special theme nights for the season will include St. Patrick's Day on March 17th, as fans are encouraged to bring the Tigers good luck by wearing green. On April 9th the players and coaches will wear special American Flag caps in honor of Military Appreciation Night and the game will conclude with a patriotic post-game fireworks show. On April 23rd fans are asked to dress in their favorite 70's attire for 70's Night and enjoy tunes from the decade throughout the game. May 8th is Beach Day at the Ballpark complete with beach music, beach themed promotions and more.
