Baseball Television Schedule Announced

The Auburn baseball team will appear on television nine times through the Southeastern Conference's television package, the league office announced on Friday. Auburn will appear on a variety of networks, including ESPN, ESPNU, SportsSouth and CSS. Auburn's first televised game of the 2011 season will be the annual Capital City Classic between Auburn and Alabama at Riverwalk Stadium in Montgomery. Auburn has won the previous two meetings between the two clubs in the capital city. Auburn's first conference game to be televised will be the Saturday game of the Vanderbilt series on April 2. The game time has been changed to 6pm CT and will air on CSS. The Sunday game of the series at Kentucky will also air live on CSS with the start time remaining at noon central time. Already announced as part of the ESPNU Thursday Night Game of the Week, Auburn's home series with Ole Miss will also have its Saturday game air live on CSS with a noon central first pitch. Auburn's entire road series at defending National Champion South Carolina will also air live, with the first two games airing live on SportsSouth with a 6pm CT first pitch while the Sunday game will air live on ESPN at 2pm CT. The Saturday Auburn-Alabama game at Plainsman Park will also air on CSS with first pitch being moved to noon from its original 3pm start. The entire 2011 SEC Tournament from Regions Park in Hoover will also air live with CSS and SportSouth carrying each game from Wednesday-Saturday and while the championship game will air live on ESPN2. Season tickets for Auburn baseball are on sale now while single-game tickets and the all-new Pick Six Mini-Packs will go on sale on Monday, Feb. 14.
