Auburn Baseball To Appear On Television Eight Times In 2009

AUBURN, Ala. - The Auburn baseball team will play live on television eight times in 2009, appearing on CSS five times, the Big Blue Sports Network twice and SEC-TV/Fox Sports South once in John Pawlowski's initial campaign as the skipper of the squad.

All eight of Auburn's televised games are Southeastern Conference match-ups, with four being played in Plainsman Park and four on the road. The Friday, April 24 and Sunday, April 28 games at LSU will both appear on CSS. The following weekend Auburn's home games against Ole Miss on Saturday, May 2 and Sunday, May 3 will also appear on CSS. The start time for the Saturday game has been moved to 6pm while Sunday's first pitch is at 1pm.

The final two games of Auburn's series at Kentucky will be shown live on the Big Blue Sports Network with the Saturday, May 9 game having a 7pm ET first pitch and Sunday's game starting at 1pm ET.

Auburn's final regular-season series with Alabama will also have two games air live as CSS will carry the opener on Thursday, May 14 at 6pm and the season finale on Saturday, May 16 will be the SEC Game of the Week on Fox at 3pm.

Auburn opens the regular season on Friday, February 20 at home against Elon at 3pm and tickets are still available.
