AUBURN, Ala. - Auburn scored three times in the bottom of the sixth to break open a tie game en route to a 7-4, come-from-behind win over Wofford on Wednesday night at Plainsman Park. With the win Auburn improved to 17-12 while Wofford fell to 13-18.

"Justin Camp came in out of the bullpen and Reid Carter, both those guys settled the game down," Auburn Head Coach John Pawlowski said. "The first five innings Wofford had their leadoff guy on. We were constantly on our heels and I thought those guys (Camp and Carter) did a really good job. It was nice to see some of our younger guys step up."

Tied at 4-4 heading to the sixth, Auburn used four hits, a walk and an error to take its first lead of the game after battling back to tie the game at 3-3 in the fourth and 4-4 in the fifth. Sam Gillikin, making his first start since Feb. 26, singled to start the inning and went first to third on a Dan Glevenyak single. The Wofford defense would allow Gillikin to score from third on the play when it tried to nail Glevenyak at second but the ball went into right. Ryan Tella followed with a single to score Glevenyak from third and then he scored on a Damek Tomscha bases loaded bloop single to left that made it 7-4.

Tomscha finished the game 3-for-4 with a double and a pair of RBI, extending his hitting streak to eight.

Camp (3-0) earned the win with five innings of one-run ball out of the Auburn bullpen. The redshirt freshman entered in the third with Auburn behind 3-2 and left after Auburn had taken the three run lead. He surrendered four hits while striking out three to get his first win since Feb. 24.

Carter threw the final two innings, allowing a walk and striking out three, to earn his first career save.

Wofford reliever Dominick Del Monte (1-3) took the loss, allowing eight of Auburn's 14 hits and five of its runs in 3 1/3 innings.

All nine starters had a hit for Auburn, which tied its season high with the 14 base knocks. Tella, Blake Austin and Glevenyak all had two hits in the game while Jackson Burgreen scored a pair of runs.

The win was Auburn's 12th come-from-behind win of the season.

Auburn returns to SEC play this weekend at Texas A&M. Game times for the series are 6:30pm on Friday, 2pm on Saturday and 1pm on Sunday.
