Savage, a redshirt junior from Suwanee, Ga., has been very active in the Auburn and surrounding communities over his four years at Auburn.
Auburn will face Alabama in the second game of the morning session on Tuesday.
With the win Auburn won its fourth SEC series of the season and moved to 31-20, 11-16 SEC.
