Took a hard-luck loss in the championship game as he allowed just two unearned runs on four hits and a walk, striking out six in 7.1 innings as the Gulls lost the championship series 2-0 ... Finished the regular season 2-2 with a 2.72 ERA in nine starts (49.2 IP) and was third in the league with 52 strikeouts ...
