Blake Beck joined the Auburn baseball staff as video coordinator in September 2016. Beck is responsible for coordinating all aspects of video analysis including player development and scouting. Additionally, he will fully implement TrackMan’s information gathering technology at Plainsman Park.

Beck previously served as video coordinator under Thompson and head coach John Cohen at Mississippi State from 2014-15 where he completed all player analysis and assisted with the day-to-day operations of the Bulldog program. He also aided with on-campus recruiting as well as baseball camp operations and instruction.

Beck made the move to Auburn after spending the 2016 season as the volunteer assistant coach at Troy under head coach Mark Smartt.

A native of Hamilton, Ala., Beck pitched two seasons at Shelton State Community College in Tuscaloosa from 2010-11. Following his playing career, he spent two seasons as the video coordinator at Troy from 2013-14 where in addition to his video responsibilities, he supervised team managers and led field maintenance operations.

Beck received a bachelor’s degree from Troy in 2014 and completed a master’s degree at Mississippi State in 2016. He is married to the former Brooke Davis of Tuscaloosa, Ala.
