The 13th annual City of Auburn Downtown Trick-or-Treat was a success this year as children dressed up and received candy on the famous intersection of College and Magnolia streets. Aubie made a special appearance and took pictures with monsters and princesses under a decorative balloon arch, while athletes gave away autographs and candy to the trick-or-treaters.
Miss Auburn University, dressed up in her tiara, also participated in handing out candy and complementing all of the costumes, while the band Caterpillars of the Community provided live entertainment.
"We are excited to be out here tonight to meet the fans, greet all the little kids and just have a good time," said gymnast Miranda Telmanik.
Not only were the 100 student-athletes excited to join in on all the Halloween fun, they were also excited to support their teams, too.
"We are starting a new season next year with a new coach," said second baseman Damon Haecker. "We are really trying to get out and show everybody that we're excited and have people come out and support us."
