AUBURN - The Auburn volleyball team, head coach Wade Benson, assistant coach April Yantis and members of the Auburn equestrian team spent the evening of Feb. 18 playing bingo and having a Valentine's party with the residents of Oak Park Retirement Home.

The group played several rounds of spirited bingo during their Oak Park vs. Auburn competition, with Oak Park winning 5-4.

The evening started off with both groups introducing themselves to each other before the bingo competition started. They enjoyed Valentines cookies and candy while playing.

The Auburn vs. Oak Park friendly competition started during Fall Semester when the Volleyball team narrowly defeated Oak Park.

Coach Yantis, who coordinated the visit with the volleyball team and invited equestrian to come along, said that the entire Auburn group "had a ball visiting the residents of Oak Park and they look forward to visiting again in the near future.

The equestrian team also invited the Oak Park residents out to attend its meets during the 2009 season.
