Auburn teams up to end child hunger in Alabama

Auburn Athletics Director Jay Jacobs has promised his department will be an involved partner in spreading the word about fighting childhood hunger, and the school's student-athletes are already involved. Details of Auburn's involvement were revealed Friday at a school that saw the Athletics Department win the Southeastern Conference's most-recent community service award with more than a thousand hours of volunteer work by student-athletes. Now, Auburn is doing more.

Famed golden eagle Tiger, a symbol of the Auburn University spirit for nearly 30 years, died June 18, 2014. At 34, she was believed to be among the oldest golden eagles in captivity.

Auburn Team Teaches Basketball Skills at Gwinnett Area School

The Auburn women's basketball spent their first morning of the SEC Tournament teaching the student-athletes of tomorrow at Hopkins Elementary in Gwinnett County.
