Ten Auburn Track Athletes Earn All-America Honors

NEW ORLEANS – Ten Auburn track and field athletes were named United States Track and Field/Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) All-Americans, the organization announced on Monday.

Seniors Maya Pressley (high jump) and Kai Selvon (200 meters) closed their Auburn careers as USTFCCCA All-Americans. Pressley finished third in the high jump to earn her fourth career mention, while Selvon was sixth in the 200 meters to earn All-America status for the ninth time in her illustrious career.

Additionally, sophomore thrower Valentina Muzaric was named a First Team All-American after placing seventh in the women’s shot put. Freshman Daina Levy was a second team honoree with her 14th-place performance in the women’s hammer throw, the first of her career.

On the men’s side, all five participants in the three rounds run by the third-place 4x100m relay team received first team honors. The award was the 12th of senior Marcus Rowland’s career giving him the second most career All-America awards in Auburn history behind Olympian Harvey Glance’s 14 career awards.

Harry Adams (eighth), Keenan Brock (sixth) and Jeremy Hardy (second) were also honored. Alternate Joe Fisher, who ran at the NCAA East Preliminary Round in Jacksonville earned his first career award.
