AUBURN – V’alonee Robinson set a pair of personal bests and Jeremy Hardy finished second in the men’s 200 meters to highlight Friday’s performances for Auburn track and field at a pair of meets.
Robinson finished fourth overall in the women’s long jump with a long jump of 19-6.75 feet (15.96m) and also set a personal best in the 60 meters, finishing in 7.40 seconds, at the Tyson Invitational hosted by Arkansas.
Hardy was second in the 200 meters with his mark of 21.69 and also placed fifth at 60 meters in 6.78 seconds at the VT Elite meet in Blacksburg, Va.
Other notable performances included Kai Selvon advancing to the finals of the women’s 60 meters with a season-best time of 7.37 seconds. Also at Arkansas, teammate Samantha Scarlett set a new PR in the 60m hurdles as she crossed the finish line in 8.43 seconds.
Samantha Berggren finished fourth in the 800 meters in 2:12.74.
In Blacksburg, Cam Holt set a new personal best in the long jump with a mark of 23-4 (7.11m). Freshman Brad Money established a new personal best in the 800 meters at 1:55.81.
Additionally, senior Spencer Ferguson finished fifth in the invitational 400 meters in 49.34.
