2011 NCAA Outdoor Qualifier (Shot put/Discus throw)

2012 Outdoor: Competed in the SEC Outdoor Championships finishing fifth in the shot put with a throw of 59-7.5 in the finals and 59-8.5 in the prelims... Also competed in the discus finishing third with a mark of 175-7 in the finals and 168-3 in the prelims... Won the shot put at the Auburn Tiger Track Classic and the Miami Hurricane Alumni Invitational with marks of 57-5.5 and 58-0.25... Competed in discus at the UCSD Triton Invitational posting a season best mark of 177-8 and finishing 12th... Finished third in discus at both the Miami Hurricane Alumni Invitational and the Auburn War Eagle Invitational with marks of 171-10 and 169-7.

2012 Indoor: Finished second in the shot put at the Alabama Indoor Invitational with a mark of 17.09m... Finished fourth in shot put and eighth in weight throw with marks of 17.61m and 15.94m, respectively, at the Auburn Indoor Invitational... Finished tenth in the weight throw at the SEC Indoor Championships with a season best mark of 16.57m.

2011 Outdoor: Opened the outdoor season with two top-three finishes at the SEC-Big Ten Invitational, placing third in shot put with a mark of 16.44m (53-11.25) and second in discus throw with a mark of 53.07m (174-1) ... Placed third again in shot put at the Seminole Invitational with a mark of 16.64m (54-7.25) and placed first in discus throw at 50.74m (166-6) ... Placed third in discus throw and hammer throw at the Troy University Coach "O" Invitational with marks of 50.32m (165-1.0) and 55.45m (181-11.0), respectively ... Placed third at the ULM Warhawk Classic in shot put with a mark of 17.08m (56-0.50) ... Finished fourth in shot put and third in discus throw at the SEC Championships with marks of 17.48m (57-4.25) and 54.84m (178-0.5), respectively ... Competed in shot put and discus at the NCAA Prelims and qualified for the NCAA Championships by placing ninth in shot put with a mark of 18.10m (59-4.5) and 12th in discus throw with a mark of 54.27m (178-0.5) ...Competed in shot put and discus at the NCAA Championships and threw marks of 17.46m (57-03.50) in shot put and 52.31m (171-7) in discus.

2011 Indoor: Placed third at the Iowa State Classic in the shot put with a mark of 16.63m (54-6.75) which was also a career best ... Finished 12th in his first SEC Championship with a mark of 16.09m (52-9.5).

High School: Won the Class 3A state title in the discus at the 2010 Illinois High School Association state meet with a throw of 189-3 and was runner-up in the shot put at the 2010 (61-2.5) and 2009 (59-11.75) IHSA state meets ... Won six medals (four in the discus and two in the shot put) during his high school career ... Had personal bests of 202-4 in the discus and 61-3 in the shot put ... Named the 2009-10 Daily Herald Fox Valley male athlete of the year ... Also excelled in football as a two-time all-area selection.
