Bricker, who was the Southeastern Conference champion on the platform, finished second to the 2001 NCAA Champion -- Kyle Prandi of Miami.

''Ashley and the guys had a rough morning today,'' Auburn head diving coach Jeff Shaffer said. ''We made too many mistakes and it really cost us. I am really proud of Matt in his performance this evening on the tower. He handled the pressure well and finished second to last year’s NCAA champion.''

Bricker and Garcia will join the other 17 Tiger swimmers at the 2002 NCAA Swimming and Diving Championships to be held March 28-30 in Athens, Ga.
