AUBURN MEN'S SWIMMING AND DIVING COMPLETES DALLAS MORNING NEWS CLASSIC --- Jan. 20, 2001
DALLAS, Texas --- Members of the Auburn University men's swimming and diving team completed competition Saturday night at the Dallas Morning News Classic with impressive individual performances.
While most of the team was at home taking on Florida State, eight swimmers and one diver participated in the two-day event for the Tigers.
Sophomore Justin Caron and freshman Scott Talbot-Cameron came away with Auburn's best finishes of the day with Caron earning a second place in the 200-yard breaststroke with a time of 2:00.29 and Talbot-Cameron finishing second in the 200 back (1:47.61).
Junior Kevin Clements had a productive with two season-best times taking third place in the 200 IM with a time of 1:52.07 and finishing fourth in the 500 free with a time of 4:30.85.
The men (6-1, 2-0) and women (8-0, 3-0) will be back in action Saturday, Jan. 27 at 10 a.m. eastern when the Tigers travel to South Carolina for the final dual meet of the season.
