Auburn, Ala. - The defending national champion Auburn men and women's swimming and diving teams will host a banner drop celebration on Saturday at 9 a.m. in the James E. Martin Aquatics Center. The annual Auburn alumni versus current swimmers meet will follow the NCAA banner drop.

The CSCAA Dual Meet rankings were released on Thursday and the Auburn men find themselves in the top spot with 239 points. The Tigers are followed by Stanford (232), Florida (214), Texas (214), Arizona (209), California (207), Southern California (181), Northwestern (174), Georgia (172) and Minnesota (169). With six teams in the top 25, the SEC leads the nine different conferences that are represented in the poll.

On the women's side, the Tigers received a No. 3 ranking (with 226 points) behind California (239) and Florida (230). Auburn is followed by Georgia (204), Stanford (203), Southern California (188), Southern Methodist (186), Texas A&M (175), Michigan (165) and Texas (162).

This year's poll features two new pollsters than years past and will be published nine times throughout the season. The poll is considered representative of teams relative dual-meet strength, not a reflection of their finish at the NCAA Championships.

The third-ranked Auburn women return to action on Nov. 10-11 in Knoxville, Tenn., when the group meets No. 15 Tennessee and No. 5 Stanford.
