Made his first career appearance at the NCAA Championships, competing in the 100 back, 200 back, 200 IM and 200 medley relay...Earned first career individual All-America selection, placing 11th overall in the 200 back... with a time of 1:40.67, the eighth-best time in school history...Narrowly missed the final in the 200 IM, swimming a personal best of 1:43.94 to take 18th overall...Was 22nd overall at the NCAA Championships in the 100 back at 46.53, posting the sixth-best time in school history...Swam the leadoff leg of the 200 medley relay that took third overall at the NCAA Championships (1:23.87), splitting a 21.68...Won the consolation final, finishing ninth overall in the 100 back at the SEC Championships...Also won the consolation final in te 200 IM to score 20 points, finishing ninth...Took 10th at the SEC Championships in the 200 back at 1:43.57 as Auburn's top-finisher...Qualifed for the NCAA Championships with first career NCAA automatic qualifying time in the 200 back at the Auburn Invitational...Earned NCAA 'B' cuts in the 100 back and 200 IM...Finished second at Florida in the 200 IM in the final road dual meet of the season...Competed in six events during the season (200 free, 100 back, 200 back, 200 fly, 200 IM and 400 IM)...Posted a team-high 11 individual wins in five different events...Won the 200 free and 200 back at LSU...Registed five dual meet wins in the 200 back, including in first career competition at the Notre Dame Tri-Meet...Earned the SEC Men's Freshman of the Week honors.
Ranked as the No. 13 overall recruit in the class of 2013 by CollegeSwimming.com ... Represented Great Britain at the European Junior Championships in Antwerp, Belgium winning gold in the 200m backstroke and helping the Great Britain's 4x100 medley relay team to a bronze medal finish ... Owns three British age group records in the backstroke events.
