Recorded the third-best Auburn times of the year in the 100 (48.12)and 200 fly (1:47.45)at the SEC Championships, which were also personal bests, finishing 24th and 16th respectively and giving him NCAA 'B' cut times...Clocked a personal-best in the 100 free (47.38) as the first leg of the 400 FR against Florida, 13th-best time by a Tiger that year...Swam the anchor leg of the winning 200 FR team against Kentucky, swimming a split of 21.14 for a 50 free...His time of 1:52.03 in the 200 fly against Texas gave him a runner-up finish in the event and his second-fastest time of the year...Competed in the 100 back at the Georgia Fall Invite, touching the wall in 49.97, a personal-best, and finishing 22nd...Placed 31st at the same meet in the 200 IM (1:52.54)
Freshman Season (2011-12):
Swam in two events at SEC Championships in an exhibition role ... Clocked season-best times of 49.09 in the 100 fly and a 1:49.22 in the 200 IM, the latter earning an NCAA `B' cut ... Posted top time of 50.42 in 100 back at Georgia Invitational to earn a spot in the C-final ... Also posted his top 200 fly time at that meet (1:51.58), finishing 15th overall ... Went 1:52.52 in the 200 back in a dual meet with Georgia for his top mark in that event ... Finished fifth in 100 back and 100 fly at LSU, his first collegiate meet ...
