Auburn University is committed to sportsmanship among its coaches, student-athletes, staff and fans. Sportsmanship has been defined as the conduct becoming to one participating in sport.
 
In accordance with the Auburn Creed, Auburn University coaches, student-athletes, staff and fans believe sportsmanship is playing fairly, acting respectfully toward others and promoting the interests and good name of Auburn University on and off the field of play.
