Auburn had 16 of 21 programs compete in postseason action during the 2012-13 season.
Since the 2004-05 academic year, Auburn has won 13 national championships (Men's Swimming & Diving , Women's Swimming & Diving , Equestrian , Football, and Women's Outdoor Track and Field) and 20 SEC Championships (Football , Women's Basketball, Women's Golf , Soccer, Men's Swimming & Diving , Women's Swimming & Diving ) and six divisional titles (Baseball, Football  and Soccer ).
The total of 30 Auburn student-athletes earned 51 All-America honors during the 2012-13 season. There were also 36 Tigers named All-SEC and 12 SEC champions along with a school-record 304 Academic Top Tigers.
Nearly 30 current and former Tigers competed in the 2012 London Olympics, including six current Auburn student-athletes. The Tigers went on to earn six medals at the Olympics, led by former swimmers Tyler McGill and Eric Shanteau winning gold medals. Former track athletes Kerron Stewart (silver) and Marc Burns (bronze) also won medals. Former swimmers Cesar Cielo and Matt Targett also won bronze medals.
Women's Basketball's Blanche Alverson became the first Tiger student-athlete ever to be named Auburn's Miss Homecoming. Her standout senior year also included being selected to the WBCA's inaugural Good Works Team for her Ballin' For Books community service program while being named the SEC's Women's Basketball Scholar-Athlete of the Year for the second year in a row.
