Champions & Professionals

The Auburn Tigers Women's Golf team is one known for its successes. The Tigers have had tremendous success in the SEC and have also made numerous NCAA Championship appearances. Former players have been named All-Americans, and Auburn also has players that have played on professional tours.

  • Auburn has won nine SEC Championships (1989, 1996, 2000, 2003, 2005, 2006, 2009, 2011, 2012), a mark that ranks the Tigers second in the SEC
  • Eight of the nine championships have been won under Head Coach Kim Evans
  • The Tigers have won back-to-back SEC championships and three of the last five titles
  • Six Auburn golfers have won individual SEC Championship titles
  • The Tigers have made 16 appearances in the NCAA Championship
  • Auburn has placed in the top five at the NCAA Championship three times, with its best finish in 2002 tying for second place
  • 18 Tigers have earned a total of 35 All-America honors
  • 65 Tigers have earned All-SEC honors
  • Seven Auburn players have been named SEC Golfer of the Year
  • Coach Evans was named to the National Golf Coaches Hall of Fame in 2008
  • Evans has been named SEC Coach of the Year five times, including the 2012 honor
  • Auburn got its first-ever number one national ranking during the 2001-02 season under Coach Evans
  • 10 former Tigers have played on the LPGA Tour, currently including Karlin Beck, Cydney Clanton and Nicole Hage
  • Eight former Tigers have played on the Future Tour, currently including Candace Schepperle
