  • Auburn had 16 of 21 programs compete in postseason action during the 2011-12 season.
  • Since the 2004-05 academic year, Auburn has won 12 national championships (Men's Swimming & Diving [5], Women's Swimming & Diving [3], Equestrian [2], Football, and Women's Outdoor Track and Field) and 20 SEC Championships (Football [2], Women's Basketball, Women's Golf [5], Soccer, Men's Swimming & Diving [8], Women's Swimming & Diving [3]) and six divisional titles (Baseball, Football [3] and Soccer [2]).
  • The soccer team made history by winning the SEC Tournament for the first time in school history. The Tigers also became the first team from the SEC West to win the league's title and automatic bid to the NCAA Tournament.
  • The women's golf team defended its SEC title in 2012. The Tigers have won two in a row and three of the last four league crowns.
  • The total of 39 Auburn student-athletes earned 80 All-America honors during the 2011-12 season. There were also 46 Tigers named All-SEC, three SEC Coaches of the Year and three SEC Scholar-Athletes of the Year, along with a school-record 249 Academic Top Tigers.
  • For the second year in its two-year history, Auburn Arena hosted a NCAA post-season event, serving as a host site for a NCAA Gymnastics Regional. Auburn also hosted the nation's finest swimmers and divers in the NCAA Women's National Championships in March.
  • The men's swimming and diving team won its 16th consecutive SEC title. The Tigers have won 18 SEC swimming and diving championships, all coming in the last 19 years.
