Auburn University prides itself on being a well-rounded school with so much to offer its students. We are always expanding and reaching new heights in every category of student life including our Student Center, our more than 300 student organizations, refurbished Foy Dining Hall, brand new Student Activities Center and fantastic student housing facilities.

The Auburn University Student Center opened in 2008 with amenities ranging from comfortable studying space to fine dining. The restaurants you will find in the Student Center are:

  • Au Bon Pain Café Bakery
  • Outtakes Quick Cuisine
  • Papa John's Pizza
  • Starbucks Coffee
  • Chef's Table
  • Chick-N-Grill

However, it is more than just a place to eat. The Student Center provides services and facilities for social, personal and intellectual pursuits of an individual or group of students. Copy Cat, located on the first floor, provides quick copies that can be charged to a student's Tiger Club Card Account. Other features include:

  • ATM Machines
  • Multiple computers with free access
  • Courtesy phones
  • TV and study lounges

The Student Center is a great resource for getting involved in the different programs and activities around campus because this is where most of the offices are held.

With more than 300 student organizations, there is an organization that is right for everyone. There are many categories that Auburn University student organizations can be broke into. Some of these categories include:

Foy Dining Hall was once the student center for Auburn University, but it was reopened in Spring 2010 with an updated look and brand-new restaurant options. Some of these restaurant options include:

  • Take 5 subs
  • The Pan
  • Pizza Phlats
  • Au Bon Pain Café Bakery
  • The Gyro Pit

Auburn University will complete their new, state-of-the-art activities center in Spring 2013. Some of the amenities in this new facility will include:

  • 1/3 mile, indoor walking/running track
  • Multi-purpose court
  • Group fitness studios
  • Outdoor recreation
  • Cardio/fitness training areas
  • Weight training areas
  • Locker rooms, game rooms
  • Six basketball courts and racquetball courts
  • Outdoor activity/leisure pool
  • Rock climbing wall
  • And much more…

The new housing unit, The Village dorms, was completed in 2009. The Village units are organized in a "super suites" shared by four students. For the most part, suites consist of four single bedrooms, two bathrooms and a common living/dining are. There are eight Village Halls containing both coed and single gender halls.
