The Department of Health and Human Performance offers the Master of Education (non-thesis option) degree and the Master of Science (thesis option) degree. The areas of specialization include: Physical Education, Health Promotion, and Exercise Science. A minimum of 30 semester hours is required for completion of the Master of Education Degree (non-thesis option). The comprehensive written exams will be offered for the M.Ed. student during their final semester. A minimum of 30 semester hours are required for the Master of Science Degree (thesis option).

technical information and intervention strategies for leadership roles
in various health promotion settings. The program requires an internship
experience in an appropriate health promotion setting.
The Exercise Science Program provides advanced study in the basic branches
of exercise science and prepares the student for further graduate study
in the areas of biomechanics, exercise physiology, motor behavior, and/or
the medical/allied health professions.
