Auburn's inaugural Jungle Jam will tip off the 2013-14 men's basketball season. Along with host Mike Epps and performances by Ludacris, fans will be introduced to the 2013-14 Tigers. The event will be punctuated with a slam dunk contest, 3-point shooting contest and a short scrimmage. Auburn cheerleaders, dancers, pep band and Aubie will also be there to celebrate the start of basketball season.

"More than anything, the Jungle Jam is about getting the students excited and fired up about basketball," head coach Tony Barbee said. "At the end of the day, you need students to attend your games because they are the best and most loyal fans. We purposely moved this event to the night before the Auburn-Ole Miss football game at Jordan-Hare Stadium to make sure as many students would be on campus as possible." Tickets are not required. Seating in the main arena level is first-come, first-served.
