Auburn Gameday
8:56 p.m.
We go to the 4th quarter with Auburn holding a tenuous 10-7 lead. The Tigers have the ball at the K-State 24-yard line. Big third down.

8:47 p.m.
Auburn's defense holds again! Kansas State misses its third field goal of the game and the Tigers are still up 10-7. War Eagle!

8:30 p.m.

Auburn kicks to Kansas State and the Wildcats open the second half with the ball. The Tigers' defense shuts down the first drive and forces the punt. Great job defense!

8:22 p.m.
Auburn's defense has held Kansas State to just 17 yards on 20 carries. The Wildcats are averaging 7.6 yards per pass. Auburn's offense holds the slight edge in total yards 173-168. More notes:

Ricardo Louis' second-quarter 40-yard touchdown catch was his second of the season and the fourth touchdown reception of his career. He has scored touchdowns in back to back games; he had a 4-yard TD catch vs. San Jose State.

Jonathan Jones' first-quarter interception was the first interception of his career. He is the fourth Auburn player to record an interception this season.

Auburn had scored an offensive touchdown in every quarter this season until the first quarter at Kansas State, and in 31 of 32 previous quarters back through last year's game at Arkansas. Auburn's last touchdown-less first quarter was last season at LSU.

8:01 p.m.
Auburn has the 10-7 lead at halftime in Manhattan after Kansas State misses the field goal to end the half. Coach Malzahn calls it a "dogfight" in the halftime interview before hitting the locker room. He also says Auburn needs to get first downs when asked about tempo.

7:53 p.m.
Boom, Marshall hits Ricardo Louis and the junior receiver weaves his way 40 yards into the end zone for Auburn's first TD of the game.

7:49 p.m.
Marshall to Quan Bray and Auburn converts its first third down of the game with 3:29 left in the first half. Come on Tigers!

7:42 p.m.
Auburn's defense finally yields points and the Wildcats are up 7-3 late in the first half in Manhattan. The Tigers' offense has had opportunities but overthrown, dropped and tipped passes have stalled drives.

7:36 p.m.
Auburn still has not converted a third down. Duke drops a long dart from Marshall and the Tigers will punt. Sloppy game so far for both sides.

7:34 p.m.
Coach Malzahn from the sideline appears to be motioning to the Big 12 refs to spot the ball faster.

7:26 p.m.
Last two pass attempts by Nick Marshall have been tipped at the line, and that last one is intercepted by the Wildcats. K-State takes over.

7:21 p.m.
Auburn's offense is 0-4 on third down but the Tigers still lead 3-0. After the punt, the Wildcats will go back on offense.

7:09 p.m.
Kansas State misses on a 41-yard field goal attempt and Auburn still leads 3-0. That's the end of the first quarter.

6:57 p.m.
Jonathan Jones comes up big with his first career INT off a bounced ball in the end zone and Auburn dodges a bullet:

6:47 p.m.
Here's the highlight of Carlson's FG. Auburn draws first blood:

6:43 p.m.
Auburn recovers a fumble on the K-State 22. The Tigers drive stalls and with the field goal the Auburn is now 12-12 scoring inside the red zone (10 TDs, 2 FGs). Redshirt freshman kicker Daniel Carlson hit the 34-yard FG to make it put Auburn up by three.

6:39 p.m.
What a heads-up play by freshman punter Matthew Shiel. Tigers have K-State inside its own twenty.

6:34 p.m.
