Directs Auburn student-athlete programs in academic support, initial and continuing eligibility, counseling, life skills and career development.
Worked as Associate Dean, University college and Director of Minority Affairs at the University of Akron, 1994-1998. Was Coordinator of Academic Advising for Student-Athletes at Akron, 1992-1994, and Associate Director of Admissions at Akron, 1991-1992. Coordinator of Alumni Recruiting at Rhodes College, 1990-91. Assistant Director of Admissions at Akron, 1988-90.
Born November 3, 1962. Native of Hartselle, AL. Married to the former Donna Mash from Akron, Ohio. Has three girls; Carolyn Mavis, Victoria Blair and Anastasia Lea. Earned a Bachelor of Arts in Arts and Political Science from Rhodes College (1985) and M.A. in Political Science from the University of Akron in 1993.
