Sean Stryker begins his first season in 2016 as Auburn baseball's athletic trainer. He joins the Auburn staff following a stint at Kentucky.
Stryker spent the 2015 season as Kentucky baseball's athletic trainer handling all daily evaluation, coordination, implementation, treatment and rehabilitation for the Wildcats' baseball program.
Prior to joining Kentucky, Stryker spent the 2013 and 2014 seasons working with the Baltimore Orioles as a staff athletic trainer. While with Baltimore, he assisted the head and assistant athletic trainer with all duties related to the daily prevention, evaluation and treatment of injuries.
Stryker, a native of Oak Ridge, N.J., earned a bachelor's degree in athletic training from Penn State in 2012. He went on to earn a master's degree in sports medicine from Delaware in 2014. While at Delaware, he served as a graduate assistant athletic trainer working primarily with baseball.
A member of the National Athletic Trainers' Association and the Southeast Athletic Trainers' Association, Stryker is engaged to Samantha Maron of Wharton, N.J. The couple will wed in July 2016.
