Assistant Director of Marketing

Education: Muñoz graduated from Baker University in 2009 with a bachelor's degree in business, emphasis in marketing and management; and a minor in economics. In 2012 she received her Master of Business Administration from Kansas State University.

Job Responsibilities: Muñoz leads marketing efforts for women's basketball and softball. She is responsible for the marketing plan development and execution including revenue generation, game presentation and fan experience for both sports. She also oversees the print, radio and television advertising agreements including email marketing.

Past Experience: Prior to coming to Auburn, Muñoz spent two years at Arkansas State University where she served as the Athletics Marketing Coordinator and then a year later was named the Assistant Athletics Director for Marketing and Fan Experience. Muñoz oversaw the marketing and promotional plans for the Red Wolves' 14 sports among other duties. Before her stint at A-State, Muñoz was a fan experience and sales graduate assistant at Kansas State University. Over the course of her two years with K-State Athletics she served as the primary contact with volleyball, women's basketball and baseball. Following the completion of her undergraduate degree, Muñoz completed a 10-month internship with the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) after a four month summer internship with the Kansas City T-Bones Baseball Club. A volleyball student-athlete at Baker University, Muñoz began her career in athletics with an internship in the Baker Athletics department.

Personal: A native of Topeka, Kan. Sarah and her husband Eric have one son, Jace.
