Academic Counselor, Life Skills Coordinator
Janice Robinson joined the SASS staff in 1994 as the Academic Counselor for Football and Track & Field. In addition to being an Academic Counselor, Janice is the CHAMPS / Life Skills Coordinator which involves the development of workshops, seminars, guest speakers, supervision of the Life Skills courses and a variety of activities that aim to enhance the total development (personal, academic, career and community service / leadership & outreach) of student-athletes. Janice received her B.S. degree from Tennessee State University in Social Welfare and a M.Ed. with a concentration in Counseling and Student Development from Tuskegee University. She is a current member of the National Association of Academic Advisors for Athletics.
