Education: Hooshyar graduate from Jacksonville University with a bachelor's degree in psychology and exercise science in 2007. She went on to graduate with a masters degree in human performance with a specialization in sport and exercise psychology from the University of Florida in 2009.
Job Responsibilities: Hooshyar works with coaches to coordinate with a variety of departments within Athletics and the University to facilitate and streamline recruiting efforts for Auburn's 20 Olympic Sports.
Past Experience: Hooshyar worked as an Assistant Women's Soccer Coach at Southern Methodist University for five seasons where she focused on mental conditioning, player welfare, and operations. She created a mental conditioning curriculum for team and individual sessions focusing on a variety of topics to improve awareness and strengthen mental performance. Hooshyar also worked with all full time IMG sport academies as a mental conditioning coach to developed individual and group mental conditioning sessions for the classroom, office and playing surface.
Personal: Hooshyar grew up in Gainesville, Fla., and is married to her husband Chris.
