Education: Maas graduated from the University of North Alabama with a Bachelor of Arts in criminal justice with a minor in Spanish in 2008. She went on to graduate from Florida Coastal School of Law, earning her Juris Doctorate and Sports Law Certificate in May 2011.
Job Responsibilities: Maas serves as an Academic Counselor working with members of Auburn's football team.
Past Experience: Kristin Maas joined the SASS staff in August 2015 as an Academic Counselor. In 2011, she earned her Juris Doctorate and Sports Law Certificate from Florida Coastal School of Law. Prior to joining the SASS staff, she was the Assistant Registrar for Athletic Eligibility at the University of Central Florida and the Athletic Certification Officer and Transcript Evaluator at Auburn University. Kristin was a student-athlete on the softball team at the University of North Alabama from 2004-2007, earning 1st Team Gulf South Conference, 1st Team All-Academic Gulf South Conference, and NCAA Regional Tournament Team titles. Kristin is a current member of the National Association of Academic Advisors for Athletics and Alabama State Bar Association.
Personal: Maas is the daughter of Duke and Cheryl Maas and has a brother named Erik. She also serves SASS as the Liaison to the Office of International Programs and Academic Honesty Committee.
