Education: Peirce received her bachelor's degree in Public Relations from Florida State University in 2015. After receiving her bachelor's degree, she continued her education in the Integrated Marketing Communication master's program at Florida State University. In 2016 she graduated with her master's degree in IMC with an emphasis in crisis communication.
Job Responsibilities: Peirce is currently responsible for overseeing the administrative responsibilities within the Auburn baseball office. Specifically, she conducts primary research for the enhancement of Auburn baseball events, and assists with the coordination and execution of those events, such as camps and alumni occasions. Peirce also assists Head Coach Butch Thompson with the dissemination of his bi-weekly alumni newsletter. Furthermore, she contributes to the social media efforts for both Auburn baseball and Auburn baseball camps.
Past Experience: Peirce came to Auburn after receiving her bachelor's and master's degrees from Florida State University. As a master's student, she engaged in a comprehensive research project pertaining to crisis communication. Specifically, her work focused on analyzing whether the transparent communication of a pre-crisis plan affects stakeholder trust and forgiveness when a crisis does occur and the company stays true to that initial plan. In addition to her academic endeavors, Peirce also worked at Florida State's Office of University Communications, where she served as an Information Assistant and Writer from August 2015 to December 2016. In this role she wrote and edited press releases, student profiles, and articles for Florida State University News.
Personal: A native of Vero Beach, Fla., Peirce is currently engaged to marry her fiancé Bobby Long, a graduate of Auburn University, in December, 2017.
