Janet is in her eighth year at Auburn University. She works closely with the women's gymnastics program while supervising the McWhorter Athletic Training Room. Taylor also oversees the application and hiring process for the undergraduate interns and graduate assistants as well as coordinating CPR and First Aid training for the Sports Medicine staff and athletic department.
A native of Washington, NC, Taylor received her Bachelor of Science Degree in Exercise and Sport Science with an emphasis in Athletic Training from University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill in 2003. She continued her studies in athletic training and while working as a graduate assistant at Georgia Tech she completed her Master's of Science in Sports Medicine from Georgia State University in 2005. During her two years at Georgia Tech, she was a graduate assistant athletic trainer with Swimming & Diving, Men's Basketball and Football.
Taylor is a member of the National Athletic Trainers Association (NATA), the Southeast Athletic Trainers' Association (SEATA), and the Alabama Athletic Trainers' Society.
