RESPONSIBILITY: Manages development staff and coordinates all fund-raising efforts for Tigers Unlimited and the Auburn Athletics Department. Identifies, coordinates, and solicits private support from individuals and corporations for the Athletics Department. Oversees the Athletics Advisory Council. Currently oversees development staff charged with raising over $200 million in the university's $1 billion dollar campaign. Co-founded and co-coordinates the WINGS program which supports female athletics through funding and mentoring. Established and coordinates all details for 4 recognition societies: All American, Shug Jordan, Heisman and Talon.
EXPERIENCE: Admissions counselor in the Auburn University Admissions Office from 1996-98. Served as the Director of Auburn Clubs for the Auburn Alumni Association in 1998 before joining the Tigers Unlimited staff as a development officer in October of 2001. Was promoted to Senior Associate AD for Development in June 2009. Led the Legends Campaign, the department's first ever capital campaign, which generated over $170 million. Led the arena Campaign which resulted in a state of the art facility for all men's & women's basketball teams as well as the gymnastics team. Served as 1st female president of the SEC development directors in 2012. Was nominated and selected to join the Executive Committee of NAADD (National Association of Athletics Development Directors) in 2008 as the 1st Vice President. The Tigers Unlimited team has won most outstanding fundraising unit multiple years since 2001.
PERSONAL INFORMATION: Native of Selma, AL. Earned a B.A. in Psychology from Auburn University in 1995 and a M.Ed. in Counseling from Auburn University in 1997. Has one daughter, Kinman Kate, born January 15, 2008.
