Education: Heck received his bachelor degree of applied arts in Sports Management from Central Michigan University in 2009. He completed his master's degree of arts in Sports Administration in 2011.

Job Responsibilities: Heck oversees the marketing staff and day-to-day operations of the department. He is responsible for the creation and execution of the marketing and promotional plans for all 21 sports at Auburn. Specifically, Heck is the leads men's basketball marketing liaison responsible for the marketing plan development and execution including revenue generation, game presentation and fan experience. He works closely with Associate AD for Marketing and Fan Experience, Jon Sirico, on football game presentation, fan experience and revenue generation. Heck coordinates all aspects of digital marketing and advertising within athletics.

Past Experience: Before coming to Auburn, Heck served as an athletics Marketing and Promotions intern at Central Michigan University. Following his time as a graduate assistant, Heck became Marketing and Community Relations Coordinator. As Coordinator. In 2012 Heck became the Assistant Director of Marketing and New Media and later the Associate Director at the University of Arizona.
