AUBURN, Ala. --
Recent Auburn graduates now have the opportunity to request renewable football season tickets for only half the minimum contribution to Tigers Unlimited.
The new Auburn Athletics Department program is aimed at tapping into the enthusiasm of young alumni, according to Athletics Director Jay Jacobs.
"This is a great way to show our graduating students how much we appreciate their love and support of Auburn football and how much we want them to stay connected with the Auburn family," said Jacobs.
Alums graduating within the last three years are eligible. The minimum Tigers Unlimited contribution is cut from $260 to $130, although donors will still receive the full $260 per seat credit toward their ticket priority.
Approximately 500 season tickets are available through the young alumni program, but Jacobs said it's expected to grow over time. The seats are located together in Section 37 of Jordan-Hare Stadium
, giving recent grads their own reserved seating environment.
"Establishing a section dedicated to young alums is a creative and fun way for Auburn to stay in touch with recent graduates as they transition into a new phase of life," said Auburn President Jay Gogue. Program memberships will be awarded on a first-come, first-served basis.
