BIRMINGHAM - A total of 42 Auburn student-athletes have been named to the 2011-12 Southeastern Conference Fall Academic Honor Roll, it was announced Wednesday by SEC Commissioner Mike Slive.
The 2011-12 SEC Fall Academic Honor Roll is based on grades from the 2011 Spring, Summer and Fall terms.
Auburn football and soccer had 16 athletes each on the SEC Academic Honor Roll with 16 each. Volleyball followed with 10.
Earning the honor from the football team were Joel Bonomolo (Interdisciplinary Studies), Chandler Brooks (Wildlife), Steven Clark (Exercise Science), Jared Cooper (Social Science Education), Adam Dyas (Undeclared Sciences and Math, Pre-Med), Tunde Fariyike (Undeclared Sciences and Math, Pre-Med), Trent Fisher (Communication), Josh Harris (Political Science), Wo-Otinnah Iyegha (Electrical Engineering), Anthony Morgan (Interdisciplinary Studies), Dustin Norris (Building Science), Ryan Preston (Industrial and Systems Engineering), Ashton Richardson (Animal Sciences Pre-Vet), John Sullen (History), Barrett Trotter (Public Administration) and Taylor Williams (Political Science).
Representing the SEC champion soccer team were Tori Ball (Human Development and Family Studies), Maddie Barnes (Chemistry, Pre-Med), Ana Cate (Exercise Science), Mary Coffed (Marketing), Katy Frierson (Political Science), Aimee Golightly (Biomedical Sciences, Pre-Pharmacy), Heather Havron (Marketing), Chandler Hillen (Pre-Special Education Early Childhood), Amy Howard (Elementary Education), Julie King (Interdisciplinary Studies), Mary Nicholson (Nursing), Jessica Rightmer (Communication Disorders), Kimberly Spence (Undeclared Sciences and Math,Pre-Med), Caitlin Torie (Exercise Science), Lydia Townsend (Radio, TV, and Film - Mass Communication) and Jessica Wolfe (Building Science).
Rounding out the list was volleyball with Sarah Bullock (Marketing), Katherine Culwell (Finance), Kelly Fidero (Health Promotion), MacKenzy Harper (Accountancy), Camila Jersonsky (Pre-Polymer and Fiber Engineering), Brittney Rhude (Management), Kathia Rud (Pre-Business), Christina Solverson (Polymer and Fiber Engineering), Chelsea Wintzinger (Undeclared Sciences and Math,Pre-Pharmacy) and Sarah Wroblicky (Pre-Elementary Education).
