New Scanning Procedure for 2009-2010 (Effective immediately)

Due to the recent abuse of the Auburn Ignited scan in procedure, we are now implementing a new procedure to reward those students who stay until the end. We will now be scanning member cards at two times during games which count for Ignited points: once at the same time as usual (from pre-game to the halfway point) and then once at the completion of the game or 2 hours into an event depending on which comes first. We are excited about this new addition, as it will reward students who stay for the games in their entirety.

Students can still earn the same amount of points at each event, but will gain half of their points at each scanning time.

2 Point Events:

1 Point at scan-in
1 Point at scan-out

All Auburn, All Orange Events:

2 Points at scan-in
2 Points at scan-out

***We are currently working on a similar system for those events worth one point each, and will most likely reward a half point at each scan time. We will alert you of any policy changes to Auburn Ignited scan procedure at these events via email.

This means you can still receive half points if you come and stay until at least the halfway point, as we understand in a student's busy schedule, it can be difficult to always stay until the end. We still want to reward these members for their support which is why we believe this procedure will benefit everyone.

Please remember, if you scan in and leave before the halfway point of the event you will be punished. On the first offense, you will receive no points and be warned. On the second offense, you will no longer be eligible for prizes or blocked seating.
