Haley Gerken delivers goal in double-overtime Auburn win

Junior Haley Gerken sent a 30-yard volley just over the head of Arkansas' goalkeeper in double-overtime Sunday and it sneaked into the net giving Auburn the 2-1 victory. The win is an important one for Auburn as its gives it its second conference victory of the year and keeps it in the hunt for reaching the SEC Tournament for a 13th-consecutive year.

Word from Jay Jacobs: Auburn Basketball

When we broke ground on the Auburn Arena, I knew turning the shovels marked a new day for our basketball program. I knew it was a significant step forward for Auburn basketball. We finally had the facilities to compete and recruit at a high level. Today, we are another step closer with the dawning of the Bruce Pearl era next month.
