The Tigers beat Louisiana-Lafayette 12-11 by scoring five runs in the bottom of the fifth on just one hit to tie the game at 10-10 before winning it in the eighth on a Whitney Jordan bounder.

Auburn women's golf coach Kim Evans takes new position with university

After 21 seasons as the head women's golf coach at Auburn, Kim Evans has accepted a new position within the university and has decided to no longer coach the women's team. A 1981 graduate of Auburn, Evans is one of the most successful coaches in AU Athletics history, leading the program to eight Southeastern Conference Championships, 20 consecutive NCAA Regional appearances, and seven Top 10 finishes in 14 NCAA Championship appearances.
